This month, Buccleuch were delighted to take delivery of the first vehicles for their electric fleet at Queensberry Estate.

The vans, which are 100% electric, will be used by the building services teams to travel between their various jobs on the estate in a green and efficient way.

Alan Hiddleston, asset manager at Buccleuch, said: ‘with a range of around 120 miles (when loaded with tools and kit), the vans are perfect for the teams working on the estate, and it is great to know we are doing our bit to help reduce Buccleuch’s carbon emissions.’

Buccleuch is continually looking at ways to reduce the environmental impact of its business operations and it is hoped this will be the first of many electric fleets across the estates.
