Richard Lochhead MSP welcomed to Bowhill House

Colleagues at Borders Estate were delighted to welcome Richard Lochhead MSP, Minister for Small Business, Innovation, Tourism and Trade, to Bowhill House earlier this month.

During a visit organised in association with Historic Houses Association Scotland, Mr. Lochhead enjoyed a tour of the magnificent Bowhill House before sitting down with Rory Powell, House Manager, Andrew Hopetoun, Chairman of HHA Scotland, Stephen Young of Scottish Land and Estates and Gordon Smith of Visit Scotland, to discuss the important role historic houses, such as Bowhill House, play within Scottish Tourism.
