It is with deep regret that the Buccleuch family announce the death of the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, Knight of the Thistle, who passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday September 4 at Bowhill House in the Borders at the age of 83 years. The Earl of Dalkeith succeeds his father to the Dukedom.
